Engineering services provider plantIng to make first appearance at Frankfurt Achema - 30 new appointments projected to end 2012

plantIng GmbH, a subsidiary of the ABLE GROUP, will be participating for the first time at the Achema (18 - 22 June) this year. The engineering specialist and full-service provider, with a focus on plant and process technology, will be introducing itself at the leading international forum for chemical technology, environmental protection and biotechnology at B56 in Hall 9.1.

Potential job applicants will have the opportunity to meet with general and sales management and human resources representatives as well as with engineers and technical staff, and to obtain in-depth information concerning specific vacancies on offer. Free-lancers will have the chance to view current project tenders. Last but not least, customers - existing and potential - will be given the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the entire range of plantIng's products.

"Cost pressures, globalization, constantly changing technology and, increasingly, environmental issues are the challenges facing business in the process industry today. Above all the refinery sector as well as the petrochemical and chemical industry will be required to make significant investments in the next few years. Our customers alone have committed to investments running into billions for projects between now and 2015," says Dieter Hofmann, Chief Executive of plantIng.

For this reason, North Rhine-Westphalia's (NRW) leading independent engineering services provider is planning this year to open a further technical office and to take on thirty additional staff. "We are looking above all at project engineers for plant and process technology, and automation technology, with experience in chemicals or petrochemicals. By extending our branch network we want to get closer to the customer and to offer attractive jobs to our staff. Increasing regional coverage highlights our customer and employee-oriented approach which is integral to our strategy for growth," says Hofmann.

He takes a positive view of the future of chemical plant construction. "Small, medium-sized and large companies engaged in producing chemicals have long since either reduced or completely disbanded their engineering teams. At times when projects make heavy demands, the work is outsourced to external partners. This is where our company comes in. In future there will be continuing demand for integrated planning of investment projects and creative detail engineering covering all specialized competences, delivered by an Owner's Engineer."
